A good expiry date printer is selected from the production problem rather than the brochure. The main questions are: what material are you printing onto, how fast is it moving, how much space is available, what code height is needed and how often does the operator change product?
Agree the approved expiry wording, date source and person responsible for any calculation before setting up the message. Include rollover and product-change checks and finished-pack legibility in the acceptance brief; a printer applies the chosen data and does not determine the product’s shelf life.
